The "SmartWine360" solution is based on the detection of values such as humidity, temperature, solar irradiation, etc. through a sensor system inside control units installed in the vineyards.

The data collected, from the point of view of precision farming, make it possible to constantly monitor the growth cycle of the vines.

The system also allows communication with the plants used for cultivation (eg irrigation, roofing,…). 

The analysis of the historical series of big data produced allows to optimize future production.

The system is designed with machine learning functions and oriented towards the development of predictive models.

The winegrowers can keep track in real time and remotely of all the parameters useful to guarantee the growth of the vines in the best possible environmental conditions.

It is also possible to control the activation / deactivation of the systems.

The oenologists can optimize the analysis on the quality of the vines, minimizing the operations in the field and using a database to be able to compare the sample analyzes.

Data security and validation

For customers who have a greater need for traceability and guaranteeing the validity of the big data produced in the various vine cultivation and wine production cycles, it is possible to base the data management infrastructure on BlockChain technology.

This technology guarantees and certifies the truthfulness of the data collected and full compliance with the optimal oenological parameters in the different phases and treatments of the vines, of the

​must and wine, allowing to validate their excellence and the actual quality level.

Even today this is a technology that does not allow to build infrastructures economically, despite the high reliability, it is likely to implement a BlockChain infrastructure only in the case of the most prestigious vineyards and wines and therefore of a high and very high price range.
